From 1998 to 2002 I worked in 2 nightclubs then started a DJ business from scratch in 2003. Trying to do it all yourself is a pain!

DJ intelligence is an essential tool for all DJ's who run a Mobile DJ Business. Since I started using it my week to week DJ business planning has been super easy.

Here is what I like the most..

I don't have to consistently check my availability when a client emails me. If I'm unavailable, the DJ intelligence system will tell the customer on my website instantly.

My Clients can choose all of their music requests online and when their gig comes around I just print off the list from the DJI system and away I go. I usually do this about a week before so I can double check if I have all of their requests.
*

If I plan to go on Holiday for 3 Months in Vanuatu (Try the Kava whilst your there :) you can simply black out the 3 months you will be away and your website will tell customers you are unavailable.
*

You can access your Gig information from any computer as it's all server based. That means you can see when your next gig is from anywhere in the world!

Now, you can run your entire business from DJ intelligence or use one or two of the many tools that work with what you need in your business.

Theres only two things that I can think of that could be improved..

The custom music search (i.e. only when you upload your own song suggestions) is a little slow for customers on dial-up or the minimal DSL plan.

It would be great if customers to listen to tracks say on Youtube instead of iTunes, Barnes & Noble and Amazon.

But these things are minor.
